Tiny Strings Ukulele Group

Tiny Strings Ukulele group is for ages 9-17 and can range anywhere from 10-20 students in a class. Classes are 1 hour long and the cost is $150 per 6 week session. There a two 6 week session to choose from per semester.​

Ukulele is a great beginning instrument that offers a great amount of success to most students. The instrument is small and achievable for many ages. Being in a music class offers many benefits including self expression, cognitive development, opportunities for socialization, self discipline, lower stress levels, and studies show that students of the arts continue to outperform their non-arts peers in academia. The list is endless!

Here are some examples of learning elements students will encounter in band class:

• Counting, reading, and playing rhythms

• Reading notes of the staff

• Strumming patterns

• Ensemble playing

• Independent playing

• Instrument technique for the ukulele

• Socialization

• Performance opportunities

• Having fun!

This is a performance based class with a scheduled performance at the end of the 6 week session.
