Music Classes and Offerings

One of Dynamic Education's missions is to be able to provide musical enrichment opportunities to all people of all ages. The homeschooling community should be provided the opportunity to have students be a part of enrichment such as music, art, theatre, sports, technology, etc.

I am happy to be able to provide a variety of music classes that are geared towards students ages 5-18! These classes vary between semester commitment to smaller 6 week sessions.

The classes that are available for fall and spring registration are:

Homeschool Elementary Music (ages 5-7, 8-11; 2 separate classes) cost: $350 per semester (14 weeks)
Homeschool Band (ages 10-17 little to no experience to some experience on an instrument) cost: $500 per semester (14 weeks)
Homeschool Choir (ages 9 and up, no experience required) cost: $400 per semester (14 weeks)
NEW! Dynamic Education After-School Choir (10 and up, no experience required) cost: $250 per session (10 week)
NEW! Tiny Strings Ukulele Group (ages 9 and up, no experience required) cost: $150 per session (6 weeks)
NEW! Drumming Circle (ages 9 and up, no experience required) cost: $150 per session (6 weeks)

Homeschool Elementary Music Kindergarten/1st

Wednesdays 11-12pm

(ages 5-7)

Session: January 29th-May 5th

General Music education that explores singing, dancing, movement, instrumentsand the fundamentals of music.

Homeschool Elementary Music 2nd-5th grade

Wednesdays 10-11am

(ages 8-11)

Session: January 29th-May 7th

General Music education that explores singing, dancing, movement, instrumentsand the fundamentals of music.

Homeschool Choir

Fridays 12:30-2pm

(ages 10-17)

Session: January 31st-May 9th

Geared towards homeschooled students and no experience required, choir class will teach the fundamentals of music, how to properly sing and use your voice through vocal warm ups, exercises, games, and performance repetoire.

Dynamic Education After-school Choir

Tuesdays 5:30-7pm

(ages 10-18)

Session: February 25th-May 6th

Geared towards public school education students who may not have choir at their school or may not have time in their schedule to have it as an elective, Dynamic education is offering an after-school choir to give those students an opportunity to be a part of a group, learn how to sing and perform.

Homeschool Band

Fridays 10-11:30am

(ages 10-17)

Session: January 31st-May 9th

Homeschool band is for any student wanting to play a band instrument or already playing a band instrument. This is a group/ensemble performance based class. Instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, French horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, and Percussion.

Tiny Strings Ukulele Group

(ages 9-17)

Mondays 12:15-1:15pm

Thursdays 5:30-6:30pm

Session 1: February 6th-March 13th

Session 2: April 10th-May 15th

A 6 week Ukulele session focusing on playing ukulele! Learning to read notes, rhythms, chords, and playing as a group. This is a performance based class.

Drumming Circle

(ages 10 and up)

Mondays 1:30-2:30pm

Session 1: February 3rd-March 11th

Session 2: April 8th-May 13th

A 6 week drumming session focused on world drumming curriculum and playing on a multitude of percussion instruments. Students will:

- echo drum patterns played by others
- identify the type of instruments being played
- recognize and label styles of music
- identify the probable culture from which the music comes.
- Play group ensemble music
