Heidi Lucas (1991) is an American pianist, music educator and performer. She began studying piano at the young age of six, and ranked in several music competitions, including 2nd place in the State Competition for the Ohio Federation of Music Clubs by the age of sixteen. She has studied under instructors such as Dr. Robert Marler, Julliard-trained Dr. Robert Ruckman, and Julliard-alumnus Dr. Young-ah Tak who taught at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL where Heidi graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in piano performance. After receiving her degree she studied for 4 years with Steven Van Loozenoord who began introducing her to jazz piano.

Heidi participated in the Keyboard Festival at First Assembly of God for 7 years, an event which brought in 8-10,000 audience members and was invited a few years ago to audition for an M.A. in piano performance at the esteemed Manhattan School of Music.

From 2014-2021 she was on staff at Faith United Methodist Church as a pianist, and the accompanist for vocal students at the music studio "She Sings for Chocolate." She currently teaches over 40 students around SWFL and just finished her M.A. in piano performance at the University of South Florida in Tampa Fl as a student of Dr. Eunmi Ko. Currently, Heidi is also an adjunct piano professor at Florida Southwestern College in Fort Myers.

When Heidi is not performing, teaching, or studying, she enjoys spending time with close friends and playing with her dog, Gershwin.
