After-School Choir
After-School Choir classes can range anywhere from 20-40 students in a class. Classes are 1 hour and 30 minutes long and the cost is $250 for the 10 week session.

This choir classes is geared towards public school students who may want to participate in choir, but their school schedule was to busy for the elective. This choir group is also for students who may not have a choir within their school.
Students will have the opportunity of being in a class with peers and a performing ensemble. Being in choir offers many benefits including self expression, cognitive development, opportunities for socialization, self discipline, lower stress levels, studies show that students of the arts continue to outperform their non-arts peers in academia. The list is endless!

Here are some examples of learning elements students will encounter in choir class:

Counting, reading, and singing rhythms

Reading notes of the staff and how to read sheet music

Independent singing with solo opportunities

This is a performance based class with a performance scheduled at the end of the 10 week session.
